Ger Browne Dentist

Dr Gerard Browne, BDS (NUI)

Ger was born in Cork City and qualified from UCC in 1980. He then moved to Essex where he practiced until he joined the Health Board in Clare in 1983, treating patients in nearly every dental clinic in the County. In 1984 he moved into a huge private practice with John Duggan on O’Connell Street, becoming a full partner in 1987. They moved to Woodquay in 1994, when they built the Ennis Dental Health Centre. He and John worked together for over 30 years treating thousands of patients. Ger now specialises in practice management.
Dr Aoife O'Neill Dentist

Dr Aoife O’Neill BSc (Hons) BDS (Hons), MFD (RCSI).

Aoife graduated with a degree in Dental Surgery from the University of Aberdeen in June 2017, obtaining the gold medal in the best overall clinical proficiency for that year. She then completed one year of dental foundation training in general practice in Newry, Co. Down. While working here she gained invaluable experience in all aspects of general dentistry. She is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons Dublin having gained her MFD qualification. Aoife also has a bachelor degree in Biomedical Science from the National University of Ireland Galway, where she graduated in June 2013. A native of Limerick, she is now returning home to the South West. Her reassuring, open attitude will ensure you are put at ease during your dental treatment. She especially prides herself in treating nervous patients in a friendly and relaxed environment. Aoife also provides Dental Hygiene services to all our patients.
Dr Paula Kelleher

Dr Paula Kelleher BDS (Hons)

Paula graduated from University College Cork in 2006 with honours. She worked in Edinburgh and later returned home to work in various practices in Ireland. She is a very caring dentist and was nominated for Sensodyne dentist of the year in 2015 and the Colgate Caring Dentist of the Year in 2019. She is constantly updating her knowledge and most recently completed the Tipton PG course in restorative dentistry. She is also qualified in facial aesthetics. Paula is a native of Cork but now lives in Clare. She likes to run, play violin and practice yoga in her spare time.
Dr Stephen Kelly

Dr Stephen Kelly BA Dent Sc (Hons), MFD RCSI, MSc (Hons), AKC

Stephen graduated with honours from Trinity College Dublin in 2011 and completed vocational dental training in Essex, before moving to Luton & Dunstable Hospital in London and later to Galway University Hospital, as a Senior HO in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Dept. After working as a General Dentist he became a Member of the Faculty of Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, a Member of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain and obtained an MSc in Applied Neuroscience in King’s College London. A native of Co Galway, he is committed to continued professional development and the highest standards in patient care.
Dr Annette O'Donovan

Dr Annette O’Donovan BDS MFD RCSI ImpDent RCSEng

Dr O‘Donovan graduated in 2001 from Manchester University. She then worked in Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and the Dublin Dental Hospital, covering many different disciplines of dentistry, attaining her MFD qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland in 2004. From there she moved into Private Practice in Limerick city where she ran a successful cosmetic and multidisciplinary clinic for 15 years. She has attained a certificate in Pain and Sedation Dentistry from the Eastman Dental Institute and a Post graduate diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons England. Dr O’Donovan has been the recipient of many awards at the Irish Dental Awards as well as being nominated twice for Sensodyne Sensitive Dentist of the Year. She is a busy mum of three beautiful girls and a Bichon frais. She enjoys nothing more than just spending time with them and taking trips to coast in her Campervan.
Dr Catriona Kennelly

Dr Catriona Kennelly BDS NUI (Hons)

Catriona from Co Limerick qualified as a Dentist in UCC in 2012 with Honours, achieving all the requirements in all disciplines (Restorative, Oral Surgery, Paediatrics, Orthodontics etc) ahead of schedule. She completed her Vocational Training in Scotland along with further training at the Dundee Dental Hospital in several disciplines including Endodontics and Oral Surgery. She then worked in various practices in Tipperary, Limerick and Galway as well as completing courses in Orthodontics, Occlusion and Aesthetic Dentistry at the renowned Eastman Dental Hospital in London. She enjoys the variety that General Dental Practice gives and this is evident in the quality of her work and the relationships she fosters with her patients and co-workers
Mairead Garry RDH

Mairead Garry RDH.

Mairead qualified as a Dental Hygienist from the University of Birmingham in 1994. She had previously qualified as a DSA from the Royal London Hospital in 1989 and worked in the Eastman Hospital and Harley Street. Mairead joined us in 1997.
Gillian Shannon RDH

Gillian Shannon RDH.

Gillian qualified as a Dental Hygienist from University College Cork in 2013. As a student her skills and potential were acknowledged when she won The Dentsply Student Dental Hygienist of the year award. Subsequently, she spent many years working in Limerick, achieving the prestigious Kin Dental Hygienist of The Year award in 2017. Gillian has a passion for health and wellness and holds qualifications in Nutrition, Life coaching with Neuroscience and Yoga. She loves living in the countryside and enjoys getting out in the fresh air everyday for a walk, in the warmer months she enjoys swimming at her local beach in Kilrush.
